Bodø/Glimt dumped last season’s finalists Inter out of the Champions League with a remarkable 2-1 win at San Siro in their playoff second leg that sent the Norwegian minnows through to the last 16, 5-2 on aggregate.
Under sustained pressure, the visitors struck in the 58th minute when Ole Didrik Blomberg seized on a loose pass on the edge of the Inter area and drove at goal. Yann Sommer pushed his shot away but Jens Petter Hauge reacted quickest to convert the rebound from close range.
Håkon Evjen put the result beyond doubt in the 72nd minute, guiding a precise right-footed effort into the far bottom corner. Alessandro Bastoni pulled a goal back for Inter in the 77th minute, but it proved too late to alter their fate.
A hat-trick by Alexander Sørloth helped Atlético Madrid finally shake off Club Brugge and advance to the last 16 of the Champions League.
Atlético won 4-1 to complete a 7-4 aggregate victory but the margin on the night did not reflect the true story of Brugge’s resilience over two legs. A 3-3 draw in Belgium last week had seen Brugge come back from two goals down and then level again in the 89th minute.
In the second leg in Madrid, the visitors fought back once more after Sørloth fired Atlético in front in the 23rd minute. However, Joel Ordóñez levelled the match and the tie 13 minutes later.
Diego Simeone’s team went 2-1 ahead through Johnny Cardoso early in the second half and Brugge’s resolve was finally broken. Sørloth completed his hat-trick with goals in the final 15 minutes to secure Atlético’s place in the next round, where they will face either Liverpool or Tottenham in the last 16.

Bayer Leverkusen endured late pressure but earned a 0-0 draw with visitors Olympiakos to book their last-16 spot with a 2-0 aggregate triumph.
Leverkusen, who had won last week’s first leg in Greece thanks to Patrik Schick’s double, will now face either Bayern Munich or Arsenal in the round of 16 next month. The draw will take place on Friday.
